Dear Parishioners,
Please note the most recent guidelines related to COVID-19 from Archbishop Pettipas on the image below.

While masks are still recommended and highly encouraged, they are not required during weekday and Sunday Masses and other liturgical services. They must still be worn outside the nave and other indoor spaces. These measures are based on the latest COVID-19 protocols and exemptions issued by the provincial government.

Mandatory Masks Bylaw in Effect

Dear Parishioners,

Please be informed that in compliance with the City of Grande Prairie and Bylaw C-1426, we will now have mandatory masks upon entering our St. Joseph Parish building. This requirement extends to mass times, meaning all attendees, volunteers, staff and clergy are required to wear masks at all times, with the exception of our regular COVID-19 procedure for communion, and certain roles during the liturgy. We thank you for respecting this new bylaw, and look forward to continuing to see you here at St. Joseph Church.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: RE: Email from Archbishop Gerard

Dear Parishioners,

Some of you may have received a strange e-mail requesting money/help from Archbishop Gerard in the past 24 hours. Please be aware that his e-mail account was hacked. If you received requests for money, DO NOT RESPOND- it is not him. His Grace would like to make it clear that he would NEVER request money through an email, and we would like to add that our priests would also never do this. If you ever receive suspicious emails from any of our priests or the Archbishop, please contact the parish or diocesan office to confirm their legitimacy.

Blessings,
St. Joseph Parish
