Christmas Miracles…
Advent is over. The four weeks of preparing was filled with hope, anticipation, joy and love. Christmas giving and receiving was surrounded with friends and family traditions…but we have only just begun!
Mary’s YES to the world continues to be our Christmas miracle example. We are invited to follow Mary’s path and say YES to God’s stirrings as we journey into the darkness and silence of winter hibernation.
Luke 2 vs 19 is an invitation. “…but Mary treasured all these words and pondered them in her heart.” What a good time to reflect on the Christmas messages that are still resonating in our hearts. As Mary pondered all that was happening in her life, what does your pondering look like? For me…
To ponder is a call to patience and slowing down my thoughts, words and actions.
To ponder is to practice self control and allow my heart to respond with love to life situations.
To ponder is to be humble in trusting the work of God in my life and in the lives around me.
To ponder is to empty myself so I can be filled with God’s peaceful love.
May your heart be filled with gratitude as you treasure your miracles of Christmas that last all year long.
